Innova Solution is immediately hiring for Cost Accountant in Lenexa, KS
As a Cost Accountant, you will
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining and updating standard costs in the system
- Monitors labor efficiency metrics and working closely with operations to drive improvements
- Root cause analysis and corrective action on production variances
- Ensure fidelity of warranty recharge processes
- Collect, input, track and reconcile MRO manufacturing costs, labor, and other expenses
- Analyzing cost variances
- Headcount forecasting and planning
- Assists with capital expenditure and justification
- Monthly Closeout processes to include general ledger balancing and reporting
- Audit, track, and monitor inventory cycle count program
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a University Degree and minimum 3 years prior relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Systems Knowledge - Microsoft Office skills to include Excel, JDE, SAP & HFM experience
- Knowledge of Aerospace Industry
- Good analytical skills & Problem Solver
- Action Oriented - A flexible thinker and worker who is goal driven
- Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
- Strong business acumen with an emphasis on an ability to leverage technical expertise to ensure efficient cost structure and financial compliance.
- Work (in a team environment) with multiple teams from various aspects of the business.
- Plan; organize and accomplish goals.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills along with good presentation skills.
- Tackle and resolve issues
- Interface with all levels of management and employees
Type: 6-month contract
Location: Lenexa, KS
Pay Range: $35/hr. to $41/hr.
