Must-Haves:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience using data analysis tools such as MATLAB
- Experience preparing test plans and technical reports for helicopter tests
- Experience presenting test plans to leadership
- Ability to obtain an FAA Class III Medical Certificate
- Familiar with acquisitions and test management procedures for Air Force Helicopters
Plusses:
- Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience required for to meet customer expectations for LCAT
- Experience with the Helicopter Program Office (HPO), Systems Program Office (SPO), Air Combat Command (ACC) or AFOTEC highly preferred
- Familiarity designing tests and concepts using tools such as JMO or Design-Expert
Day to Day:
Insight Global is currently seeking a Flight Test Engineer to join a program for the 96th test wing at Nelis AFB in Las Vegas, NV. This position will require you to be on-site. In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to test directors, participating in test planning meetings, design reviews, and interchange meeting with several program offices. You will assist in presenting the test strategy, and procedures to leadership for review. You will also direct test mission from range control facilities or while air borne for several aircraft including the HH-60. You will also be responsible for defining data collection and analyzing results of the test missions.
Compensation:
$90,000 to $125,000 per year annual salary.
