What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Marketing Specialist position at Itron Careers?

You will join our Devices Product Business Unit and will support the global and regional Sales enablement initiatives, helping accelerate sales cycle and maximize growth potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the business unit and sales teams to drive multi-faceted marketing projects by demonstrating expertise in various areas, including optimization, advertising, social media, direct marketing, demand generation, trade shows and event planning.
  • Support sales and marketing teams for global and regional go-to-market planning and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Plan, oversee, develop, execute, track and be accountable for marketing campaigns and related activities.
  • Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, and online traffic…) in order to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Support, plan, implement and develop new marketing ideas for third-party vendors and customers.
  • Help to produce various content for newsletters, advertising and promotional programs, trade shows, events, and digital marketing vehicles.
  • Help develop promotional product plans according to marketing objectives.
  • Prepare supporting documents for internal and external use such as product presentations, sales collateral, training material etc...
  • Perform other duties when needed

 

EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience (digital and traditional) in a corporate and international company.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access), and CRM and CMS software.
  • Experience using analytics software.

PERFERRED SKILLS 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented. Strong autonomy and creativity are required for the position, hands-on, resourceful.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work and to interact in a technological environment.
  • Proficient in English. Additional language could be a plus.

 

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.
