Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to identify and resolve complex equipment issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Participate in union negotiations and meetings
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
- Work with manufacturing teams to ensure equipment uptime and production goals are met

Job Details
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Experience with welding, fabrication, and machining
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
