Responsibilities : As a Permanent Shop Foreman, your duties will include but not be limited to : 1Supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in all phases of a manufacturing operation.
2Ensuring safety and efficiency of the facility.3Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule, and ensuring that the production is cost-effective.
4Troubleshooting issues and overseeing equipment maintenance and repair.5Coordinating with other departments to optimize operations and improve productivity.
6Ensuring adherence to quality control standards and compliance with relevant regulations.7Training employees on equipment operations and work / safety procedures.
8Managing and meeting daily production goals and developing strategies to increase productivity.Qualifications : To be successful in this role, you will need : 1A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
2Proficient knowledge in machining, manual machining, CNC Lathes, structural steel, sheet metal, and fabrication.3Expertise in various welding techniques including stainless steel welding, aluminum welding, stick welding, and TIG / MIG.
4Experience with press brake operations.5Strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building.6Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
7Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.8The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
