Sushi Maker (sushi experience required)

Kikka sushi is looking for an energetic, hardworking, dependable, Sushi Maker (with at least 1 year working sushi making experience, shown on resume) that will provide great customer service in our location in the Whole Foods Market located at: 150 E McKinley Ave Sunnyvale, CA 94086

This is a Full time only position working 5 days a week (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays a must) including holidays and have flexible availability to work between 6am - 8:30pm (with a 1 hour unpaid meal break). The Sushi Maker will make sushi in advance and per customer's request. We do require at least 1 year working sushi making experience (must be seen on resume)

The Sushi Maker will also do prep work, cook and prepare other Asian foods and maintain a clean and neat environment all while providing great customer service in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment.

Pay is $19.50. Per SB1182: up to $20.50 per hour, depending on years of sushi making working experience. 1 – 5 years of sushi making experience is $19.50, not negotiable.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year working sushi making experience (must be shown on resume)
• Demonstrate great customer service skills
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Be 18 years of age or older

Preferred experience:

• Working in quick service restaurants, supermarkets or fast paced environments
• Food handling experience and food handler certification
