Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Overview:
- Develop onboarding plans and educate new employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
- Manage and review Worker's Compensation claims and associated paperwork.
- Assess employee performance and adjust pay scales accordingly.
- Initiate disciplinary actions when employees violate rules and regulations (as necessary).
- Address employee grievances and proactively address emerging issues.
- Monthly maintenance of Unemployment, Leave of Absence, Workers Compensation Logs, and OSHA 300 Log.
- Administer and track Leave of Absences, including EDD Disability.
- Offer support to employees dealing with general employee relations issues.
- Stay up-to-date on company HR policies, procedures, compliance issues, forms, and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of state and federal HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism, strong work ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Resourceful with problem-solving aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of HR procedures and policies.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn new technical systems as needed.
- Proven experience in working within an HR department.
- Natural interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a resourceful mindset.
