The Sales Specialist for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in the territory.
This role will work collaboratively with Sales, Service and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets while exceeding customer expectations.
This position is part of the Sales team located in Southern California this will be a remote in-territory position that will require frequent travel to customer locations.

You will be a part of the sales team and report to the Regional Sales Manager responsible for leading sales representatives to exceed the organization's sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies .

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory.
The Sales Specialist will maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed.
The associate will achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and / or mentor.
Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories.
Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies.
The essential requirements of the job include :
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience and Minimum 3 years of relevant sales (or equivalent experience)
Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, or selling in a matrixed environment
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software
Travel and Motor Vehicle Record Requirements :
The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
- Travel 50-75% and ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and / or for company meetings
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :
Prior capital sales experience

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
