What are the responsibilities and job description for the JOB COACH (Islandia) position at Lifes WORC?
- The shift available is full time (Mon - Fri 8am - 2pm )
- May be able to add more job coach hours to reach 40 hours per week, though 30 hrs per week included benefits
- The pay rate for this position is $19.50 per hour

You must have have a valid NY State driver's license and a HS diploma/GED to be considered for this position. Some experience with the IDD population is preferred but not required.
Responsible for fulfilling Life’s WORC core values, and ensuring for person-centered approach to Customized Employment.
Provide protective oversight for individuals at their job location
Assist individuals on a one-to-one basis to achieve employment related goals, per employer’s specifications, showing progression at the job site and improvement through SEMP Habilitation plan.
Assist individuals with travel training supports if/when necessary and ability to transport self and individuals to multiple locations
Serve as liaison between employers, individual, family and agency, while maintaining professional, positive relationship with employer.
