We are looking for an Circuit Breaker Technician. You will mainly be in Tulsa, OK but we do travel for breaker testing to other states. You will get overtime, per diem, double time, and housing paid for each trip! Only apply if you are willing to travel.

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Circuit Breaker Technician to join our crew! Travel is a MUST, this is a permanent position. When not traveling you will be in Tulsa working between 2 facilities doing testing here. Lighthouse is a multiple division company- we do commercial electrical, breaker testing, low voltage, fire alarm, and residential and commercial alarm monitoring and installation. We have been in business since 1989.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on low & medium voltage circuit breakers, included GE, Westinghouse, Powell, ABB, ITE, and others.
- Trouble shoot, rebuild, retrofit, test, and repair all voltage switch great to include the teardown and assembly of breakers, contactors, switchgear, electrical apparatus.
- Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.
- Supervision will be provided and training on breakers
- Other duties may be necessary
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Read and understand English. Communicate with others in English as needed when performing work and safety related tasks.
- Use power tools, including saws, drills, threaders, tuggers, and benders.
- Active listening- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.
- Active learning- understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Mechanical- knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses, repairs, and maintenance.
