We are looking for an energetic, professional Front of the House Manager to run the service side of our newly renovated Steakhouse in Cedartown, GA. To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have an appetite for growth, a commitment to team development, and a desire to provide an excellent dining experience.
As Front of the House Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure superior customer care from arrival to departure of all customers, including but not limited to maintaining restaurant cleanliness and appearance, hiring, training, and scheduling top customer service staff, and implementing excellent dining experiences. The FOH manager is responsible for complete customer satisfaction; therefore, proper training and leadership is critical. Our ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team.
Job Duties:
· Hire and train servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders
· Set and maintain shift schedules
· Ensure smooth operations for bar, lunch, and dinner services with proper prep/planning and management
· Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive management and by quickly resolving any issues as they arise
· Facilitate quick and efficient communication between front and back of the house
· Assist with and/or facilitate beverage inventory and ordering
· Oversee salad bar operations
· Assist with event planning and scheduling
· Identify and delegate essential tasks
Qualifications:
· Minimum of One year experience in a dine-in restaurant environment
· Minimum of One year experience in manager/supervisory position
· Strong leadership skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
Salary: Based on Experience. The FOH Manager should expect to work approximately 40-50 hours per week.
Restaurant Hours: Tuesday - Sunday 11-3 for lunch, will report for prep work and set up before restaurant opens; Thursday - Saturday 4-9 for dinner, will be required to work after operating hours to supervise nightly cleaning and other daily requirements.
