Overview:
This position is responsible for managing & directing the departments of Orthopedic Nurse Navigation and Orthopedic Clinic setting. He/she will provide direct oversight of the Nurse Navigation and Nursing Team within the Clinic setting. They ensure the efficient utilization of available resources to meet productivity and financial goals. The Manager-Clinical Programs works collaboratively and effectively with other Leadership personnel, Physicians, and co-workersthroughout the Ministry to enhance communication, share pertinent data and improve processes across the continuum. The Manager-Clinical Programs ensures that thedepartments are appropriately staffed to cover patient care needs. The Manager-Clinical Programs is proactively involved in patient flow and bed management issues in collaboration with the Emergency Department and the Nursing Floor. They are leaders who inspire a shared vision, demonstrating the value of change and presenting it to co-workers with enthusiasm. The Manager-Clinical Programs models the way by setting professional standards, having a positive attitude, and engaging co-workers to become leaders of change. They challenge the current process and enable others to promote change by providing support, mentorship, and guidance to those who provide direct patient care. The Manager-Clinical Programs encourages the heart of co-workers by providing both public andprivate recognition and connecting on a personal level with those that they serve. The Manager-Clinical Programsholds direct and indirect care providers accountable for their professionalresponsibilities and adherence to regulatory guidelines. The Manager-Clinical Programs performs duties andresponsibilities in a manner consistent with the Mission, Values and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of nursing experience.
- Required Education: Nursing degree
- Licensure: State of Missouri Nursing license.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card.
