We have an immediate opening for a Traffic Manager in our Overland Park, KS office. This position will oversee project workflow from concept development to completion, high level and granularly.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in regulating and tracking all project workflow through the agency
- Acts as the point person for any questions regarding project workflow
- Assists in routing all project work through the operating system according to workflow
- Provides training to new employees on operating system and workflow guidelines
- Responsible for reviewing projects before assigning
- Monitors traffic system
- Monitors daily, weekly and monthly load balancing and adjusts resource allocation
- Meets with creative teams daily to review progress and anticipate workflow issues
- Adjusts timelines where necessary based on deadlines and priorities and advises parties of impacts
- Notifies account manager and project manager when client deliverables may not be met
- Assesses needs for additional resource allocation
- Administers weekly status meetings to schedule forecasted work based on estimates and resource allocation
- Assists in estimated vs allocated vs actual hours and identifies discrepancies to increase agency estimating accuracy
- Understands detailed skill matrices of all creative teams and identifies gaps in creative skillsets
- Assists in the development of internal operating procedures to create efficiencies
- Assists in Traffic System trainings and document maintenance
- Manages out-of-office shared calendar and distributes to all involved departments
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of advertising agency experience
- Exhibits knowledge of agency policy and project management procedures
- Able to communicate with all levels of agency personnel to ensure deadlines are met or managed effectively
- Have excellent organizational, interpersonal and multitasking skills
- Able to juggle a multitude of projects under tight deadlines with a sharp focus on details
- Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills
- Ability to function at both the detail and conceptual levels
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Google Suite
- Knowledge of Workamajig is a plus
- Able to work with satellite offices
