Job Overview:

NEVER HEAR THE PHONE RING! You are here to focus on the client and their pets and educate them about the benefits of life-long care.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction.

Duties:

- Answer incoming customer texts if our remote receptionists have not gotten to them yet and respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner

- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and company policies

- Assist customers with appointments, understanding prescriptions and recommendations, including pet insurance benefits, comprehensive labratory screening for health optimazation of their pets.

- Perform data entry tasks both in computer practice management software as well as written records and to to update customer information in the system.

- Conduct outbound texts or calls to follow up on customer inquiries or resolve any issues.

- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions and any additional products or services that may benefit their pet, whether one of our services or someone elses as the pet always comes first!

- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met and concerns are addressed

- Handle customer complaints or escalations with empathy and professionalism

-Keep the waiting room and exam rooms clean, fresh, odor free and welcoming.

-Relay information from the veterinarians to the clients in a layman's language they can understand.

Requirements:

- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication skills)

- Proficient in data entry and computer skills and basic math

- Experience in outbound calling is a plus

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and common sense

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and co-workers

- Understanding that due to the nature of this business, things change constantly and frequently so you must stay on your toes.

- Previous experience in veterinary customer service is preferred

- Bilingual in Spanish or other languages is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
