Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner is a professional who will coordinate, develop, and manage the implementation of policies and procedures regarding the various areas of HR. This role oversees the maintenance of employee records, onboarding processing, employee relations, offboarding, and assists as needed in providing administrative support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review all employee disciplinary situations, working with management to ensure fair and appropriate action is being taken and making recommendations as needed.
- Review all voluntary resignations, handle exit interviews, track/analyze exit interview data, and work with management as needed to respond to trends in exit data.
- Review all performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback to management as needed, and track overdue reviews.
- Support all human capital and safety efforts while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in employee investigations, terminations, and resolve employee questions and concerns as a trusted and credible partner.
- Assist with all HR processes including administration of compensation, benefits, performance management, verification of employment, employee selection or promotion, and pre-employment.
- Partner with leadership to implement talent initiatives, people programs, and strategic planning throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3-4 years of direct Human Resources experience (preferred).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Proficient with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and the ability to learn similar computer applications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
