Your essential duties:
Be sure to bring your blue light blocking glasses so it’s easier to keep a close eye on the calendar, you will be doing a lot of scheduling.
Because you’re so detail-oriented, this hardly needs to be stated, but you’ll help keep our calendars, files and database current. Maintain and audit employee files and keep an up-to-date employee statistics spreadsheet.
We’re growing like crazy! You’ll be maintaining an up-to-date seating chart, company org chart, employee handbook and directory.
Be a rule follower, help us ensure we are compliant in all states we operate in.
Shhhh. You must be able to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
Complete the onboarding process for all new hires and channel your interior decorating ambitions by setting up new hire desks.
Celebrate good times, come on! You’re responsible for ordering employee gifts and will assist in planning and setting up employee events.
Coordinate annual HR projects such as EEOC reporting, open enrollment, performance reviews, employee training sessions, etc.
Collaborate with our external HR partners in benefits, training, payroll, etc.
Assist HR Generalist with recruiting by reviewing resumes and conducting phone screens
Complete monthly HR expense report
Complete verifications of employment.
Send FMLA and Leaves of Absence paperwork
Assist employees with general HR questions
Your education and experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associates or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred
You’re able to organize and prioritize your work as well as you do your Netflix “to watch” list.
You are patient, professional, and friendly when corresponding in person, on the phone, and you somehow communicate your happy tone-of-voice flawlessly over email communications.
You are detail oriented and possess strong time management skills
Knowledge of Employment Law preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office/HRIS systems
