What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Manager position at Network After Work?

Network After Work is looking for an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to be the face of our company and promote our services.

If you enjoy communicating with customers both online and offline, we would like to meet you. To be a successful Brand Ambassador, you will need to host our monthly Signature Mixers & Speed Networking events and attend other local networking events.

Ultimately, you should be able to increase our company’s brand awareness and generate new sales opportunities within the market.

Responsibilities

  • Post about our Network After Work online (e.g. social media and forums)
  • Host NAW’s monthly Signature Mixers and Speed Networking events
  • Ability to host virtual networking events (Reliable computer with mic and camera is required)
  • Network and build trusting relationships with potential customers while at the events
  • Thoroughly understand our services to inform potential customers
  • Use word-of-mouth marketing techniques, like referring our company to friends
  • Strong knowledge of location and ability to provide recommendations for new event venues

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Brand Ambassador, Promoter or similar role
  • Strong social media presence on multiple platforms, with above-average followers
  • Familiarity with Zoom and/or other online video platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional attitude
  • An outgoing, friendly personality, and a desire to meet new people

Time Commitment:

This is a part-time position. There will be a minimum of 1-2 events per month with possibility of more throughout the month. Requires primarily weekday evening hours with some daily hours.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Seattle, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
