SUMMARY: The IT Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for researching, selecting, installing, maintaining, and training users on audio/visual equipment, and other electronic equipment for the Hospital. While performing on-site work, AV technician must provide outstanding customer service and develop working relationships with their clients. They must use strong communication as a tool to keep projects and/or request progress moving forward and put event coordinators at ease. The IT Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for all areas including Live video productions technical support, Visual Experiences, conference rooms and potential future video podcasts.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in AV operations, preferably in a hospital or corporate venue. Experience with Microsoft Teams, and Teams Rooms (MTR) setup and configuring. Experience in ServiceNow Service Deployment Platform. (Preferred). Experience with EXTRON, AMX, BIAMP, DANTE, and/or NDI systems or hardware (Preferred). Experience with Logitech and/or Poly Systems (Preferred).

Knowledge of various AV systems, including sound reinforcement, lighting control, video switching, and projection. Knowledge of basic rules of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems. Familiarity with industry-standard software and applications used in AV production. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet during live events.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: CompTIA A , CompTIA Net , CTS-Certified Technology Specialist AVIXA Preferred: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CompTIA Project
EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent, Preferred: Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Related Field
