**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our clients team. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for assisting with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining updated records.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role
- Familiarity with payroll software and systems
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist with processing and verifying payroll data
- Calculate wages, deductions, and commissions
- Update employee payroll records as needed
- Address employee payroll queries in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accuracy of employee data
- Generate payroll reports for management
- Stay up-to-date on payroll best practices and relevant laws and regulations

**Additional Requirements:**
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience with ADP or similar payroll software is a plus
