NuvoDesk Coworking is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a part-time Community Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation and welcoming atmosphere of our coworking space.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Community Manager:

• Efficiently answering phone calls and providing helpful responses.
• Overseeing the front desk, greeting visitors, and maintaining a professional environment.
• Managing the reception of incoming mail for members and ensuring its proper distribution.

Janitorial Duties:

• Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the facility.
• Organizing and rearranging desks and drawers to optimize space.
• Handling the inventory closets, including organizing and occasional heavy lifting.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the cafe area, including wiping down surfaces and vacuuming.
• Regularly cleaning and sanitizing desks, common areas, and equipment.
• Disposing of trash and ensuring waste bins are managed appropriately.

Substitute Janitorial Support:

• Occasionally covering shifts for our janitor, which includes:
• Thorough cleaning of restrooms.
• Mopping floors across various areas of the facility.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving furniture and moderate lifting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for all members and guests.
