Responsibilities
  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
  • Create easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and customer guides
  • Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams on the development and evaluation of documentation
  • Develop and lead customer-facing document and training materials
  • Create and maintain renders, graphics and plots 
  • Create and maintain the information architecture, version control and change management
  • Collaborate to support continuous improvement of customer training
  • Create tutorials to help end-users use, service and maintain a variety of products
  • Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities


Qualifications
  • Experience with creating online training material
  • Proven working experience in technical writing of hardware documentation
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail, aesthetics and readability 
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and graphics
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Advanced Google Documents and/or MS Word skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Knowledge and experience in design tools
  • Familiarity with agile, fast past working environments


Preferred Qualifications
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred

Applicants must be eligible for employment in the United States and willing to work onsite at our HQ office in Palo Alto, CA.
