The primary function of this position is to drive new business & manage our current customer accounts and relationships within the specified territory. As Regional Sales Manager, you must ensure your region's profitability and sales performance through improving gross margins and team building. You will be responsible for the performance of multiple territories and the outside sales representatives who operate in these geographical areas. Our sales and service effort allow us to service a customer base with a 150-mile radius of each facility. We are focused on strategic field-sales growth through product line expansion/enhancement, current customer business retention & expansion, and the development of new customer relationships.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Establish Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual goals and regularly track progress to ensure targets are being met.
- Analyze Power BI data to identify any discrepancies in sales & GP, performance to budget, and areas for improvement.
- Report to VP of Sales and executive team on territory performance
- Set and execute regional sales strategies, including product launches and region-specific/product-specific sales focus to garner new business and build existing accounts.
- Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
- Meet with and provide top 10 customer MITS or Power BI report to share performance YT.
- Manage relationships of key customers and cross functional teams to ensure the sales function is exceeding expectations in all areas.
- Build, lead and maintain top-performing sales staff & monitor individual performance closely by tracking KPIs
- Provide sales team with MTD GP$ and Branch GP$ with commentary.
- Stay up-to-date with and regularly consume education material related to industry changes and best practices (regularly share with team)
- Develop and execute regular and ongoing training with the sales team to ensure ongoing competency and every individual is positively influencing key lag measures.
- Lead bi-weekly sales meetings to discuss wins/losses, ideas for improvement, and current operational effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school)
- 5 plus years of experience in management.
- Must be proficient in MS Office
- Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
- Must have an acceptable criminal history check.
- This role will not require relocation to Darlington, SC. Applicant must report to any facility within our current southern service area.
