Shift: 1st, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Rate: $18.00 (Based on Experience)
Job Description: The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building a quality product to drawing specifications. This position requires some painting, testing, and preparing of products for shipment. The Mechanical Assembler must also verify all bills-of-material are correct and that the job is complete before it ships; as well as making sure that any changes to a job are documented on the job deviation form.
Skills Required:
- Experience with Industrial Hydraulic Technologies 1 and 2
- Experience with Hydraulic maintenance technology
- Experience with pneumatic circuitry, tube bending, painting, grinding, welding, plumbing, and forklift
- Basic electrical, motor control circuits and basic electro-hydraulic training
Qualifications:
- High school or GED; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to handle products (inventory) up to 100 pounds
- Must have fabrication and circuitry experience
- Must have own personal tools to use
- Must get at least a 70% on the Mechanical aptitude test
- Must have basic computer skills
