You will enter through the first tan door (facing Dean Forrest rd), connected to the actual warehouse (not the glass doors). This door is the only door that has a sign on it that says "FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS DOOR. DO NOT BLOCK in Red bold letters". The door may be locked. Performance Team offer third party logistics services to over 500 customers. Encompassing almost 15 million square feet of warehousing capacity throughout the country and a large transportation segment capturing a variety of services, we have key supply chain hubs in the Los Angeles and New Jersey/New York areas, and other facilities along the Western & Eastern coasts along with multiple locations in the Midwest. Delivering significant sales and profitability growth, we will drive the Inland Logistics and Services business for the combined US business units for Performance Team.

Summary:

We are seeking Cherry/Order Picker Forklift Operators that can also assist with general labor tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for controlling warehouse equipment that requires training/certification on a Cherry/Order Picker forklift.
• assist with general labor tasks.
• Assist with hand loading & unloading
• Assist with palletizing, sorting, stacking, and scanning
• Operators must have at least six months experience on equipment
• Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards.
• Complete pre-shift OSHA inspection and related paperwork on forklift truck; clean forklift as outlined in procedure.
• Follow all PPE policies, wearing safety vests, etc. as required.
• Take cartons and pallets to assigned area.
• Minimize waste of product.
• Meet/achieve production goals set forth by management.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months work experience on a Cherry/Order Picker forklift
• Ability to pass a Cherry/Order Picker forklift skills road test
• Prior Cherry/Order Picker forklift certification required
