Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Want to make a difference? The ideal team member will:
- Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC equipment, and ancillary systems related to hospital utilities/operations.
- Performs general maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds to ensure a safe environment.
- Provides assistance, as needed, to Security with protecting life and property of PMC premises and
- patrols hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft and vandalism.
- Completes Preventative Maintenance workorders as assigned to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Completes Work Orders as assigned in a timely manner.
- Completes Rounds & Readings as assigned according to department policy.
- Participates in department maintenance projects and activities outside of normal job duties.
- Assigned mechanical spaces and areas are kept clean, orderly and in good repair.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum high school diploma, trade or vocational school.
- Three (3) years experience in maintenance field with knowledge of all trades related to building maintenance.
- General knowledge of safety & security procedures.
- Certified or licensed in Mechanical/Electrical field preferred.
- Ability to work varied shifts
SKILLS
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Preventive Maintenance and building management software.
- Must have the ability to navigate the Internet to obtain job related information.
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Creativity, problem analysis and decision making
