Job Description - Business Development Manager
PreMark Health Science is a full-service contract manufacturer and packager specializing in nutrition products, dietary supplements, and skin care manufacturing. Based in North Texas, we perform contract production for companies on a local, regional, and national basis.
We are looking for a dynamic sales professional to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for business development of our contract manufacturing and contract packaging capabilities, account management and to be the customer liaison. Qualities include being a team player, self-motivated, competitive, enthusiastic and a desire for achievement. Desired experience includes B2B sales and service background in the contract manufacturing and contract packaging industry.
Objectives of this Role
Achievement of company revenue and growth objectives.
Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities.
Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.
Develop strategies and positions through branch collaboration.
Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals.
Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics daily, weekly and monthly.
Responsibilities
Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
Generate new leads. Identify, contact and screen potential business opportunities. Select the deals in line with strategies. Lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
Utilize our CRM tool to manage customer communication and sales process.
Work across all functional teams to manage outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or management
Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation in contract manufacturing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working experience with contract manufacturing
Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
Proven ability to plan and manage resources
Experience with CRM software
Ability to deliver presentations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
