Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent Management, the Training and Development Manager serves as a champion and cultivator of a learning organization culture by leading and coordinating the organizations efforts to align its learning and development program with business goals. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, the Training and Development Manager is an enabler and facilitator of continuous learning that expands the organizations capacity to continually transform itself.

Collaborates with HR business partners and business leaders to proactively identify learning and development needs and objectives; conducts assessments to define and align training programs with performance and competency gaps.

Manages and coordinates training initiatives, including supervisory training, to develop managers and the next generation of leaders.

Coaches managers to grow and expand their leadership impact.

Develops, coordinates, and maintains effective training and employee engagement programs for relevant employee life cycle functions and activities that enhance employee experience.

Facilitates the flow of information through the organization with effective employee communication processes and feedback, such as employee surveys and exit interviews.

Partners with external providers to coordinate and deliver training; independently conducts training in various formats (i.e., presentations, group discussions, simulations, etc.) as needed.

Assesses, develops, and acquires training guides, learning materials, and course curriculum.

Maintains records of learning and development activities, attendance, and assessment results.

Measures and evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.

Performs other related duties as required
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Five years of relevant learning and development or training management experience, primarily in adult education.

Critical thinker with experience in execution of complex, multi- and cross-functional projects and programs.

Strong business acumen: capable of connecting business goals to learning and development practices to drive the most impactful people-related investments.

Ability to influence by blending strong relationships with clear data-driven business justification.

Strongly analytical, process-oriented professional with experience synthesizing data to actionable decision-making formats.
