Description
SUMMARY
Keeps the service entrance bay and technician bays clean and tidy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential Duties include the following;
- Washes shop truck, inside and out.
- Cleans for lift and power equipment.
- Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
- Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedures.
- Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager.
- Returns cores to storage area.
- Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.
- Sweeps technician stalls and service department floors.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
- Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Keeps current on all training requirements as assigned
- Sets a good example by maintaining a healthy work demeanor and cooperating with other managers and fellow employees in a positive spirit of teamwork. Represents Puklich Chevrolet positively when out in the community.
- Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
