Student Union Manager manages the operations of the Student Union in accordance with the university or college's policies and procedures. Responsible for managing all functions including coordinating facility use, administering student services and activities, and ensuring proper safety and security measures. Being a Student Union Manager supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates professional and student staff. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Union Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Student Union Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
