Staff Accountant – Commercial Medical Device Manufacturing

QUICK FACTS

  • Location: San Diego, CA 92128
  • Onsite (1 day of week remote)
  • Salary Range: $78,000 – $90,000 (offer based on experience)
  • Contract to Hire (3-4 months before conversion)

Experience You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  • Manufacturing Industry experience highly preferred
  • GAAP and SOX experience
  • Proficient with ERP environments, Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

  • Managing Full Cycle Accounting
  • Purchase Order Management
  • Expense Management and Oversight
  • Payroll Processing and Analysis via Paylocity
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present monthly financial results packages (budget-to-actual analysis, forecast-to-actual analysis, trending analysis, etc.). Ensure compliance with SOX 404 requirements.
