We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. The Accounts Payable Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of our accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate is a skilled leader with an understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing a high-volume accounts payable function.
salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities
Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor setup, purchase order matching, expense coding, payment processing, and reconciliation. Implement best practices to streamline and optimize the accounts payable workflow.
Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, resolving inquiries and discrepancies promptly and maintaining a professional and cooperative interaction.
Review and validate invoices for accuracy, proper authorization, and adherence to company policies. Ensure all invoices are properly coded and categorized.
Coordinate and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers. Manage cash flow projections related to accounts payable obligations.
Assist with month-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting related to accounts payable.
Generate and analyze accounts payable reports, metrics, and key performance indicators to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations related to accounts payable processes.
