customer service billing clerk

Are you an experienced CUSTOMER SERVICE BILLING CLERK? salary: $16 - $17 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Obtaining payment information by phone, website or in person.
• Entering this information in the system.
• Calling the customer and informing them of this information and if any balance is due at the time of service.
• Communicating with team members on what to collect or if any other information is needed.
• Answering phone calls and assisting customers with any billing questions
• Assisting customers in establishing payment plans for past due balance
• Reviewing and posting payments
• Following up with any unpaid or rejected claims.
• Providing necessary information to collection agency for delinquent accounts
• Working with Billing Management to identify and resolve issues related to billing, coding and the billing system and work flow.
• Adhering to all Guidelines/regulations

Skills

• Billing (3 years of experience is required)
• Microsoft Office (3 years of experience is required)
• Basic Computer Skills (3 years of experience is required)
• Following Instructions (3 years of experience is required)
