Description

 Riggs Cat is seeking a highly ambitious and strategic Digital Marketing Manager who is passionate about achieving goals. Our leadership team is motivated and aggressive, focused on being the best equipment sales and services company across all industries that we support. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities. This person will direct the efforts of the marketing department and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the company. This in-office based position is open for reporting out of either our corporate headquarters in Little Rock, Arkansas or at our Northwest store location in Springdale, Arkansas. 


WHAT YOU'LL DO

 

· Work closely with cross-functional teams; including marketing, divisions & departments, and management to understand project requirements and deliver designs/initiatives that align with our strategic goals

· Serves as an active team member of the marketing department in the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans that support specific objectives. This would include having a clear understanding for the business objective/desired end-result, and analyzing data, competitor and market information to help target and shape marketing programs

· Develop and manage marketing initiatives, programs, and materials to include internal and external marketing communications, internet marketing and search engine advertising

· Manages the tactical and campaign design elements of digital & print marketing efforts, including, but not limited to digital/print advertising, social media, marketing automation, email templates, infographics, signage/banners, video, web site content/elements, development and maintenance, and tracking/analysis.

· Manage social media pages content, scheduling through management platform, posting, monitoring and providing replies/comments, and providing scheduled reporting of social media performance.

· Business website management across all company sites to ensure content stays current to industry standards, Riggs Cat guidelines, and Caterpillar standards

· Act as marketing lead for specific events in coordination with other business divisions as required

· Effectively manage direct report(s) and leads through ongoing coaching, mentoring, and developing strong skill sets

· Keeps current on industry trends, emerging design technologies, and competitor activities to ensure our visual content remains cutting-edge and relevant.

· Development of staff capabilities to ensure our marketing alignment evolves with the latest technologies

· Coordinates and negotiates contract terms and production with outside vendors, agencies and suppliers, and necessary communication for ongoing campaigns through completion.

· Safeguards the Caterpillar and Riggs brand identities as per established guidelines and expectations

· Caterpillar Corporate & Cat dealer engagement & relations

· Co-Leader of all Corporate Events and Promos

· Co-Leader of the Riggs Novelty Store


Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

· Projects a positive attitude and desire to help others achieve set goals

· Ability to independently set and manage priorities as well as stay organized while managing multiple projects and deadlines

· Copywriting and editing knowledge

· Exceptional knowledge and experience working with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, any CRM (i.e. Texada a plus) and email marketing systems (i.e. Exact Target) is a plus

· Interpersonal skills sufficient to engage with customers, vendors, and peers in order to exchange information, motivate, influence, and persuade

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to articulate well with a variety of people and departments.

· Able to travel for trade shows or other business related events/meetings including possible extended hours, multi-day, and/or weekend work as occasionally required

· Knowledge of digital marketing technologies, including Social Media tactics and platforms

· Working knowledge of Wordpress or basic web development for web content management

· Experience in industry-standard graphic design tools and software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

· Experience with audience targeting and measuring response of campaigns is a plus


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 


· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design or related field or acceptable relevant experience. (education can be waived for applicable experience)

· 3 Years in a corporate marketing department with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Employee must be able to lift 25 lbs of force occasionally and 10 lbs of force frequently.

 

The employee is rarely exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
