PFB Custom Homes Group’s MTN Design is seeking a Structural Drafter to join our De-sign/Build team based out of our Blissfield, MI office.
Our clients appreciate our one-of-a-kind heavy timber design, our attention to detail, and our commitment to using sustainable, high-efficiency, and high-quality materials. We are looking for a Structural Drafter with similar values and beliefs who can translate their expertise and skills to our growth initiatives. Experience with AutoCAD will make you an excellent fit for our team. You will be responsible for working with our Design/Build team to produce working Construction Documents and other tasks as needed within the workflow.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Create working construction/structural documents
- Communicate with other departments and supervisors as appropriate
Skills, Knowledge, and Requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent experience and training), Bachelors degree preferred
- General knowledge of the residential construction industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Ability to think and draw 3-dimensionally
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- High level of professionalism
- Ability to set, coordinate and accomplish multiple competing priorities
- Work in a team environment with other design and construction professionals
