Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client seeking a Billing Clerk. Billing Clerk responsibilities include creating invoices and credit memos, sending payment reminders, and updating accounting records and customer information. If you are a dynamic Billing Clerk with excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, this may be the role for you.Key responsibilities- Manage the issuing of customer account statements- Discuss billing adjustments with clients and vendors- Record journal entries for all adjustments to billings- Collect payments (online payments, cash, etc.) and check for accuracy- Track payments and manage all reminders, and contact customers if needed- Assist customers and handle billing complaints- Answer requests from clients and vendors- Maintain customer accounts, checking for debts, incomplete information, and other issues- Put together reports for executives and senior managers- Manage accounting records, recording all new payments, balances, customer information etc.- Check for billing data accuracy and fix any errors as needed- Issue bills and invoices and send to customers via available channels (physically or via email or another digital system)- Draw up needed information for bills receivable calculationThe salary range for this position is $63,000 to $77,000.Benefits:Medical/Dental/VisionLife and AD& D401(k) retirement and Profit Sharing plan15 days paid time off12 paid holidays
