As the Controller, you will be planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff. This Controller role will be a permanent employment opportunity and will be fully on-site located in the Puyallup, Washington region.Responsibilities include:- Flexible in completing tasks beyond formal job responsibilities- Manage finance department operations, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll- Reviews deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations- Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis- Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time- Prepare cash-flow reports that project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and handle daily cash management- Collaborate with executive team and partners to make efficient and effective firm-wide operation possible- Support Finance Department initiatives, including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, through research, planning and implementation, as needed- Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts- Give executive committee and partners monthly financial reports- Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologiesSalary and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $95,000-$130,000 with the potential for a discretionary bonus. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision insurances with 100% coverage for the employee, a 401k plan w/ a 4% match, 80 hours of PTO in the first year and 8 paid holidays.
