Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturing client in the recruiting for an Human Resources Manager in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin area. This role will own all HR functions for the organization including but not limited to, managing hiring processes, maintaining employee records, employee relation matters, ensuring compliance with multi-state employment laws, benefits administration and processing payroll.We are seeking a self starter with previous senior HR experience able to handle all HR functions for an organization. Can take advantage of hybrid flexibility after training, 3 weeks of PTO, competitive health insurance benefits including plans that cover full premiums and low deductibles!Responsibilities:• Oversee the employee recruitment process, from understanding organizational needs to arranging interviews and coordinating hiring efforts.• Implement and improve onboarding procedures, and digitize existing employee files for efficiency.• Manage and maintain employee benefits and enrollment throughout the year.• Conduct disciplinary actions in conjunction with supervisors and managers, ensuring all actions are properly recorded and tracked.• Update organizational policies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and suggest changes when necessary.• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely injury reporting, claim follow-up, and audits for workers’ compensation.• Handle the processing of hourly payroll.• Conduct corporate benefit analysis, investigating similar companies to ensure our benefits remain competitive.• Maintain familiarity with multi-state employment laws and ensure compliance.• Report on salary and benefit schedules to parent company on a monthly basis.
