Duties for this Patient Registration Representative for this company will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Interviewing incoming patients to gather demographics, insurance, and emergency information
- Ensuring completion of vital paperwork, proper sign-in and security procedures prior to admission into the hospital system
- Discussing hospital policies with patients
- Preparing and distributing patient identification bands
- Arranging for transportation to designated hospital rooms
- Providing all around excellent customer service to help sustain a warm environment
Requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with excellent customer service
- Ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously
- MS Office experience and excellent typing skills
- Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills and have high attention to detail
- Experience working in a healthcare environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
- Healthcare access certification (preferred)
Salary : $18 - $21
