Our client in East Pittsburgh is looking for a receptionist ASAP for a contract to hire opportunity. The position is Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm, and is $16-17/hour. The candidate is required to have excellent telephone skills, strong people skills, and data entry skills are a plus!
Perform general support services, assisting with the facilitation of the eligibility determinations and the leasing process.
Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain the property waiting list. Complete data entry of applications, respond to inquiries from applicants, assist in the processing of applications;
• Assist with scheduling of appointments, returning phone calls and mailing letters for the intake of new applicants;
• Maintain file system including: retrieving and filing, copying, and faxing documents from files;
• Perform direct supervision of Administrative Assistant and assist with Administrative Assistant duties, as needed;
• Assist in maintaining office equipment, including copiers and postage machine.
• Assist in ordering office supplies;
• Perform word processing functions including: merge documents, creating and updating forms, and general typing assignments;
• Collaborate with property managers in order to provide clients with a coordinated and responsive level of service;
• Facilitate, participate, and contribute to monthly staff meetings;
• Perform special projects and additional tasks as assigned by supervisor;
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of computer word processing, database, and spreadsheets.
