- Assist in the design of information and operational support systems
- Hold up redundancy strategies, backup, and security
- In a proactive manner provide the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- Configure, test, maintain, and install application software, system management tools, and operating systems
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Screen and analyze application performance for potential bottlenecks, specify possible solutions, and act jointly with developers to apply those fixes
- Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Indite and assert custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
Requirements
- This position requires a candidate with proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems
- Practical knowledge of Automation Scripts
- Windows services experience
- Proficiency in Windows Enviornment
- Azure Active Directory experience desired
- Adeptness in VMware
- PowerShell experience preferred
- PowerShell Scripting experience
- Background working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- General familiarity with Automation
- Demonstrated knowledge of Vmware Infrastructure
- System automation experience highly preferred
- This position requires a candidate with solid scripting skills
- It is preferred for applicants to have experience with automation software
- You might be a good fit for this position if you have experience with monitoring systems
- You might be a good fit for this position if you have solid networking knowledge
- If you have experience with virtualization and containerization, you will be strongly preferred for this position
