We are offering a role for a Staff Accountant in our Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry located in Cedar Park, Texas. The successful candidate will be integral to our Finance and Accounting Department, providing critical support through various general accounting functions. This role is a part of our commitment to maintaining high standards of financial integrity and accuracy.Responsibilities:• Conduct regular analysis and review of inventory accounts• Assist in the month-end closing process, which includes the preparation of journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts• Carry out standard and custom analyses as required• Distribute month-end reports• Support field personnel with accounting matters• Calculate and remit Sales & Use Tax• File tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies• Provide audit support and schedules when requested• Participate in special projects and perform other accounting functions as necessary• Carry out SOX compliance test workSkills:• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)• Experience with Bank Reconciliations• Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance• Ability to prepare Journal Entries• Experience with Month End Close procedures• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP software.
