The Country Inn & Suites - Boise in Meridian ID is seeking an experienced hotel operations professional to join their team as the full-time Guest Service Manager. The Guest Service Manager’s primary responsibility is to assist the General Manager in achieving the hotel’s long-range profit and revenue goals by directing the operations of the hotel. This position is responsible for ensuring hotel consistency in quality of standards, as well as the delivery of outstanding guest service and the effective operations primarily of the front desk. The Guest Service Manager is also responsible for selecting, training, evaluating, developing and motivating the front desk associates.
This is a full-time, hourly position. Previous supervisory and hotel experience required. This position covers all shifts and is on-call for questions/issues.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Must have the ability to provide professional and courteous guest service.
Must have good time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must have good organizational skills, the ability to multitask and strong attention to detail.
Must have the ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing. Must have demonstrated business communication skills.
Must have the ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling guest and associate situations and problem resolution.
Must have a working knowledge of computers and basic math skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
A minimum of 2-3 years of previous hotel front desk or customer service experience required.
Previous hotel and management/supervisory experience required.
