Responsibilities
Sentinel Technologies is seeking an experienced Helpdesk Agent to join our dynamic team of IT professionals. As a Helpdesk Agent, you will be responsible to take cases independently during your shift via ServiceNow, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. You will be providing customer service and technical support, as well as troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Office and Office 365, Windows 7/10, and Active Directory. Sentinel Technologies will conduct regular performance evaluations during your onboarding period at 30 days, 60 days, and 80 days to ensure you are successfully meeting the goals and expectations set for you. This position can work remotely but does require occasional support at our Downers Grove, IL location.
Hours: 2nd shift position working Monday through Friday, 4:00PM CST to 12:00AM CST
Qualifications
- 3-5 plus years’ experience in Helpdesk role is required
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Office 365 is required
- Experience with Windows 10/11 and Active Directory is required
- Experience with DNS and DHCP is required
- This position requires the ability to be part of an on-call rotation
- Experience with Apple iMac and MacBook devices is required
- Experience with Apple IOS and Android OS is required
- Experience with mobile devices (iPhone and Android) is required
- Basic understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication is required
- Patching experience is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required
- System Imaging: Proficiency in imaging solutions (Intune & Autopilot, SCCM, SmartDeploy, NinjaOne) is required
- Kaseya experience is preferred
- Experience with JAMF is preferred
- Experience with Google G-Suite is a plus
- Certifications: Microsoft/Azure certifications (A , Network , Security , AZ-900, AZ-104, MS-900, MS-103, AI-900) are a plus
- Multi-factor authentication, G-Suite, or Apple iOS is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish language is a plus
- Position requires lifting up to 75 lbs. independently and up to 150 lbs. with assistance. Standing, squatting, lifting from floor to waist and from waist to over shoulders, as well as twisting, bending, and crawling, may be required from time to time.
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
