What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baler Operator position at Sonoco?
Position: Baler Operator
Location: Frenchtown, NJ
Pay: $19.00 hr.
Shift: 1st *overtime may be required
Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, as a Baler Operator you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include providing assistance in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Safety is the top priority of every employee.
What you will be doing:
- Removes Scrap from floor while machines are running.
- Loads compactor with paper waste.
- Removes waste from compactor that has been compressed.
- Segregates different types of waste for Recycling Purposes
- Responsible for general housekeeping of area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Load waste trucks
