Job Summary:

Performs the daily functions connected with preparing loan packages and fund loans. The duties for closer include, but are not limited to, those described below.

Responsibilities

• • Organize all loan-closing documents and confirm they are accurate to ensure loan compliance
• Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, USDA, FHA, VA, and State Housing lending guidelines and requirements, first/second liens, home improvement, and home equity loans required
• Identify and resolve any obstacles to loan funding by reviewing CD’s, LE’s, and disclosure histories; looking for compliance violations; and working with settlement agents on any outstanding closing conditions
• Fund the loan and potentially assist with the post-close collection of documentation to complete the process and any other duties as assigned
• Is able to complete and generate various loan application forms/disclosures for borrowers
• Compile data and put into loan closing documents in a timely manner
• Execute the transfer of lender funds for disbursement
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, closing agents, and vendors to answer questions and resolve any issues to make sure real estate closing transactions go smoothly
• Prepare inital CD's for sales team

• Qualifications
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are desired
• Candidates must be proficient with MS Office, IDS doc software

Experience:

• Over 2 years of experience in lending or funding with credit unions, banking, or financial services are required.

Skills:

• Ability to make sound judgments regarding the resolution of customer service issues
• Ability to problem-solve and exerciseindependent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative
• Ability to handle detailed assignments and maintain confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills necessary to prioritize workload

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
