Job Summary:
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for supervising site managers. They directly supervise site staff and act as an intermediary between site staff and the corporate staff, insurance company, and government agencies. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing approximately 550 units, which must be inspected on at least a quarterly basis. They are responsible for ensuring site staff, vendors, and tenants are compliant with all applicable regulatory laws and corporate policies. They are also responsible for ensuring the site staff maintains the property in good, working condition. The Portfolio Manager will be provided with a company computer (laptop or desktop) and company cell phone to work remotely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hiring, firing, and training site managers
- Physical inspections of the property and units
- Help site staff with processing files and filling vacancies
- Review site staff paperwork quarterly
- Attend and be the lead on all inspections by outside agencies
- Attend all training seminars and staff meetings
- Fill in (have regular office hours) at sites that do not have a manager
- Ensure all work is being done by site staff and all deadlines are met
- Handle tenant complaints
- Be responsible for the budgets (preparing, utilizing, and monitoring)

- Education:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
- Required: High School Diploma
- Experience:
- Preferred: Real Estate managing experience
- Licenses:

Pay: $33,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
