The Idaho Division of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner III. This announcement will be used to fill a classified position located at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) that will be located at State Hospital West and Southwest Idaho Treatment Center. This position will provide support for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and will work collaboratively with the Idaho Division of Human Resources.
About the DHW State Hospital West and Southwest Idaho Treatment Center
This position would provide Human Resources support for both State Hospital West and Southwest Idaho Treatment Center.
State Hospital West is a 16-bed Adolescent Psychiatric Treatment Hospital nestled between Ridgecrest and Centennial golf courses on a picturesque piece of state property along the Nampa Interstate 84 corridor. State Hospital West provides psychiatric inpatient treatment care for Idaho's adolescent citizens with the most serious and persistent mental illnesses. The hospital works in partnership with families and communities to enable clients to return to community living and is accredited by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and certified by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Southwest Idaho Treatment Center is one of Idaho's historic landmarks that was built in the early 1900s and is surrounded by acres of open space with beautiful gardens, wildlife, and walking paths for our employees to enjoy. Southwest Idaho Treatment Center is a 24-hour facility, and our mission is to support individuals in crisis to become stable, develop skills, and to successfully transition to the community. We employ over 100 professionals and work together to meet our mission for each client who comes to SWITC.

This position will provide human resource services in one or more of the following areas: consultation and training on human resource-related topics, application review and candidate testing, recruitment, job analysis and classification, benefits and leave administration, relevant program administration; and perform related work.
Summary:
Performs a full range of advanced professional human resource services in leave administration, medical accommodations, classification, compensation, recruitment, training, policy and procedure, employee relations and performance management. This position may provide support to multiple agencies.
Responsibilities:
May include performing leadwork/supervisory duties to include work assignment, direction, and monitoring of staff.
Distinguishing Characteristics
This is the fourth level in the HR job family. At this level, incumbents navigate a broad range of complex issues and inform leadership regarding contentious matters. Provides advanced guidance for other HR staff, seeking assistance on highly complicated situations.
