Supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll be at the heart of driving marketing campaigns for a product or service. An important cog in the marketing wheel, you'll be expected to be involved at all levels, including drafting press releases, event planning, creating product/services collateral, generating online campaigns and more.This job is full of variety and will require the ability to effectively manage a multitude of tasks. A marketing specialist's regular to-do list includes:
GENERAL FUNCTIONS/SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as a marketing specialist for designated product lines
- Coordinate media production and delivery with publications
- Create and executive social media and editorial calendars
- Event planning – Regional and National Trade Shows
- Creating lead fulfillment collateral
- Create product and solutions specific collateral
- Fulfilling collateral requests from sales staff
- Write online content
- Manage the company’s website and e-catalog
- Assess the results of a marketing campaign
Duties performed occasionally
- Photography of products/events/scenarios
- Assisting the manager in writing reports and analyzing data
- Office administrative duties
- Arranging promotional events
REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION
Successful marketing specialists have plenty of energy and initiative and are driven, ambitious and bursting with ideas. It will also play in your favor if you have the following skill sets
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A strong team player
- Can work under pressure to tight deadlines
4 year degree in marketing, business or related
2 years experience in similar role minimum
Experience in Hubspot CRM and Wordpress a plus.
