Mobile Vaccine Registration Clerk (PRN) Job Description
As a Mobile Vaccination Registration Clerk, your duties include ensuring a smooth patient registration process, securely transporting vaccines, and bringing vaccination services directly to various community centers to reach underserved populations in the regional area. Additionally, you'll be responsible for accurate patient information collection, eligibility verification, and electronic data entry. Success in this role necessitates strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Please be aware that this position is on an as-needed basis, with flexible hours depending on demand.
Key Responsibilities
• Transport vaccines to designated mobile vaccination sites
. • Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are on hand.
• Assist in setting up and preparing the mobile clinic.
• Greet patients and guide them through the registration process.
• Collect and accurately enter patient information into the Louisiana Immunization Network.
• Ensure completion of all required forms and consent by patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients to provide information about the registration process
. • Assist patients in understanding the vaccination process and any relevant information.
• Identify and resolve any registration errors or discrepancies promptly.
• Accurately record and monitor vaccine temperatures during transport and clinic.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to commute between locations as needed.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and clinic staff.
• Detail and quality-oriented as it relates to accurate and compliant information for medical records.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
