What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Baker/Pastry Chef position at The Bedford Baking Company?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and skilled individual with a passion for their craft. The successful candidate will:
- Train, manage, and coach the pastry and baking team.
- Provide a quality product that is timely, fresh, and meets the needs of our cafe and event center.
- Work directly with the Operations Directors to maintain and improve our culinary operation.
Skills and knowledge to include baking and/or pastry education, cost control, communication, and training. Knowledge of all pastry and baking related tasks. Computer and organizational skills. Experience with guest contact and staff management.
We will consider both full and part time candidates.
